5 Stars pleased that I didn’t need two books — just this one
I enjoyed reading this book because I felt that it saved me buying two books. It’s got useful parenting tips — sure some people may already know some thing but I learned a thing or two — and it’s got nuts and bolts advice on how to establish a home office, save money (which all us parents must do), and promote your home-based business or career. If you want to start out and/or are just mulling the prospect over in your mind, this will spark ideas and teach you things you need to know before you make a mistake.
4 Stars This book was very helpful!
If you have children at home and are trying to run a business from home, this book is a very soothing reference to indulge in.
5 Stars Working at Home - The Ultimate Juggling Act
What I like most about this book is that it is organized into little “do-able” sections. As work at home parents, we all know you can’t sit down and read a whole book at once! (Oh the luxury!) This book gives ideas not only about your new career, but how to make the home around you work with you. It really does have some helpful ideas!
1 Star Book does not match title
This book would be good if the title was “How to start an at-home business.” But, as far as having anything to do with working at home with children, there is very little. The little it does have is basic parenting skills. From the title I expected the book to have tips about how to handle the children while working at home. It did not. The word “working” in the title is a present tense word meaning that you are currently at work in your home. This books gives instructions on how to begin to work at home. I am very disappointed and feel completely mislead by the title. I did not gain one thing from reading this book.
